Day of the Dead succulents at Trader Joe's
Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is still six weeks away, but I suppose it’s never too early to start decorating. Look what I spotted at our local Trader Joe’s this morning:
At $4.99, these Day of the Dead succulents are quite a steal.
Trader Joe’s plant offerings vary from store to store, but you can often find cool things. If you spot something you like, grab it. Chances are it won’t be there the next time. Which is why I need to go back ASAP to get those cactus kitties.
UPDATE: I have two cactus kitties now. Thank you, Michele, for picking them up!

Fun! I need to get over to Trader Joe's one of these days. You're right--they have unique offerings, including plants.
ReplyDeleteThey are opening a new Trader Joe's very near my house. I can't wait! I like the kitties best!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to see if they have the cats at my local store.
ReplyDeleteI've gotten the sugar skulls in years past, I hope my store gets the cats!
ReplyDeleteCute! And the prices are great. I obviously don't drop by Trader Joe's often enough! If only they could resolve the local parking lot issues here...
ReplyDeleteOk I'm in ..I grew several plants of giant Coco Gold marigolds for the sole purpose of some nice Day of the Dead flower arrangements - one of those TJ succulent containers are just the ticket to accessorize ! And by the way, those marigolds (which I haven't grown in literally decades) are about 3 ft tall and seem to be impervious to heat.
