Lots of mangaves and other cool plants at the 10/19/21 UC Davis Arboretum plant sale

Today, I can add another source, one right here in Davis: The inventory for the UC Davis Arboretum's fall plant sale opening on October 19, 2021 lists 17 different varieties from Walters Gardens' Mad About Mangave® Collection:

Some are available in 4" for $7.50, others in 3" for $6.00. (UC Davis Arboretum members receive 10% off.)
In total, the inventory (PDF | Excel) for the October 19, 2021 sale contains 589 entries ranging from Abutilon 'Patio Lantern Passion' to Zephyranthes candida (Argentine rain lily). No matter what your garden style is, you'll find something you need to have. I speak from experience!
My shopping list, a bit on the conservative side this time, currently includes the following:

- Echinacea purpurea 'Magnus Superior'

- Passiflora edulis 'Possum Purple'

The fall sale will be online only. It opens to UC Davis Arboretum members on Tuesday, October 19, 10:00 a.m., and to the general public on Friday, October 22, 10:00 a.m.
Plants must be picked up at the UC Davis Teaching Nursery between October 26 and November 13. After you place your order, you have the opportunity to select your preferred time slot.

I've bought most of my Mangaves at Davis plant sales, and even though I swore I wasn't going to buy anymore until after this winter I of course caved and added a couple to my list for the sale.
