Santa Barbara teaser
It will take me a while to go through the 1500+ photos I took on our recent trip to Santa Barbara—over 600 at Lotusland alone—but here is a preview to whet your appetite. Warning: If you’re a succulent lover and suffer from high blood pressure, take an extra pill before you look at these pictures :-).
Be sure to click the panoramas to see larger versions with much more detail.

ReplyDeletep.s On those really wide pano shots, make the images bigger! 1600 pixels is just not enough if you really want us to see some details.
Alan, great suggestion. I'll make the panos wider for my main posts. On my laptop they filled the screen but on my desktop they don't.
DeleteThe forests of cactus at Lotusland were phenomenal. Only single-minded dedication, lots of space and time, and a large fortune can create a place like that. I'll probably have at least three Lotusland posts (there are 12+ themed gardens on the 35-acre estate).
Thanks for the warning. I'm sure I'd be having a stroke or cardio event had I not doubled my meds today! Gorgeous shots; looking forward to seeing mor of your trip!
